How To Book with Roaming Camels Morocco
Booking a tour with Roaming Camels Morocco is typically done online and by email so that we can work together to create your personal program.
Complete the booking form with your initial enquiry. Please include the following information :
- Travel dates;
- Arrival and departure cities;
- Number of rooms required / people in your party.
We will work with you by email or phone to clarify your needs and expectations, the level of accommodations you would like and other finer details.
Once we have your details, we will offer you a proposal including travel information, transfers, itinerary, and specific accommodation recommendations along with pricing.
Finalizing the trip details together, once we have confirmed your desire to proceed, we will ask for 50% deposit to be paid by wire transfer or e-transfer (to firstname.lastname@example.org). This will confirm your reservation and allow us to hold the dates. Please see our booking terms for refundable vs non-refundable deposit policies.
Terms & Conditions
Details of how to pay the deposit, and balance, will be sent to you in writing when we confirm availability.
For group bookings (10+), different booking terms will apply. Please contact us for details.
Deposit and Final Payment:
Payment in full is required only for bookings made 3 weeks or less before the start of your excursion.
Once we have determined the final cost of your trip, Roaming Camels will issue you an invoice. You can pay the deposit either by bank e-transfer (mail to:email@example.com) or by wire transfer. We will send you bank information to complete the transfer. Nominal charges may apply at your bank to complete the transfer.
The remaining balance is to be paid in cash (Dirhams, USD, or Euros) at our first meeting or by a second transfer.
All the bookings are guaranteed after we receive the deposit receipt, however, full payment is required on the day of departure and no later.
Children aged 2-5 years are free of charge
Children aged 6-12 years qualify for a reduction of 50% when sharing a room with 2 adults (parents) maximum 1 child per family.
You are responsible for providing a proper child safety seat that can be used in our van.
Passport, Visa and Health Requirements:
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that you meet the requirements to be permitted entry into Morocco, including passport, Visa and any health related requirements. According to the Moroccan government, all travellers to Morocco must hold a passport with 6 months validity beyond the date of return from Morocco. Our Company cannot be held responsible for missed tour or excursion caused by the failure to meet these requirements.
Cancellation or Changes by the Client:
You must notify us in writing (to firstname.lastname@example.org) should you wish to cancel a tour and cancellation is effective on the date we receive your notification. The following charges are applicable upon cancellation :
• cancellation 30 days or more before start date : loss of deposit
• cancellation between 29 and 10 days before start date : 75% of total tour cost
• cancellation less than 10 days before start date : 100% of total tour cost
cancellation charges may be covered by your insurance policy, please check with your insurance provider.
Cancellation or Changes by Roaming Camels Morocco:
The nature of outdoor & adventure travel may mean that occasional, unforeseen changes to the expected tour (e.g. due to adverse weather or road conditions) may be necessary which are beyond our control. We will advise you as soon as we become aware of any such changes to be made in the interests of clients’ safety. We accept no responsibility for any such changes.
Should such adverse conditions require additional costs for accommodation, transport, food, etc such costs will be borne by the client, not us.
We may be forced to cancel a tour for reasons beyond our control (“force majeure”). In this case you will be entitled to a refund less any costs already incurred by us. No other compensation will be due or payable by us to you. If we cancel a tour for a reason other than “force majeure” you will be entitled to a full refund. We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time.
Your air travel will be booked independently of your booking with us, therefore it is subject to the terms & conditions of the relevant airline. We accept no liability for this element of your tour. Nor do we accept responsibility for any additional room nights that are booked independent of the tour in your start or finishing cities.
It is the clients sole responsibility to obtain travel insurance. Please ensure this insurance includes all medical terms including repatriation as well as cancellation for parts or all of your travel arrangements. We make no warranties as it relates to insurance on your behalf.
Changes to Tours & Excursions:
We will make every effort to alter your arrangements but we cannot guarantee this will be possible all the time, especially in high season. Should an amendment by a client be requested outside the 6 weeks before departure date might incur additional charges.
We only accept responsibility for ensuring the tours and excursions or holiday which you book with us are supplied as described on our web site and the services offered reach a reasonable standard. We make every effort to ensure that our partner hotels and suppliers meet a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
In the event of any dissatisfaction with our tours or excursions or any other service provided by the Company, the matter MUST be reported immediately to our guides or drivers so that immediate action can be taken to remedy the problem. Thereafter the matter must be sent via e-mail, in writing, to our Company within the next 2 weeks.
It is a requirement that you must be insured during your holiday in Morocco. We do not arrange any travel insurance and we strongly recommend that all travellers purchase a comprehensive travel insurance package covering against luggage loss, curtailment, medical emergency, including repatriation, rescue and evacuation by helicopter, cancellation and stay interruption. We also recommend that every participant should possess a policy number and emergency phone number of his/her insurance company or at least necessary required information about the company.
Proof of valid insurance will be required at our first meeting, and coverage for the entire period of your tour is mandatory before commencement of your excursion.
• You must notify us in writing of any disability / illness, past or present, that may affect your ability to take part in a tour with us. You accept at your own risk, and understand, the risks inherent in outdoors & adventure travel in a developing country.
• You accept responsibility for looking after your personal property & travel documentation during the tour
• You agree to abide by the laws of Morocco and understand that should you choose to break those laws, we will not be responsible for your safety or rescue. Should you choose to break the law and this comes to the attention of the guide or driver, you will be asked to leave the trip immediately and you are then responsible for your own costs, transportation and accommodation.
• You accept the booking with us on the understanding that potential alterations / delays may arise due to factors beyond our control for which we accept no responsibility (per above).
